Thrifts of Terror: Even Hipsters Won't Buy This

Some vintage clothing is hip, and some is just plain wrong.
What really scares me is the empty hanger that probably held a matching skirt. Or heaven forbid, pants.
I've never thought that attaching knits and fabric together was a good idea, this just proves my point.

Seen at the Bridgeport, CT  Goodwill.

  1. In my opinion, the problem is compounded by the fact that it's the color of Pepto Bismol. I'm not much of a pink girl to begin with, but holy smokes! I fervently believe that particular color should be eliminated from almost every palette imaginable, except may be a sunset over the desert. :)

  2. I'm trying not to think about that empty hanger, but I have a feeling it will haunt me for the rest of the afternoon.

  3. I could actually see a few of the hipsters around here wearing stuff like that. I see them sometimes, walking. They were the ugliest clothing they can find. I can't put my finger on it, but I think in a way they are trying to be ironic?

  4. I can get behind most tacky things but this - I can not justify. The fabric looks scratchy and dressing like a harlequin is soooo fifteenth century.
